    How I can help you

I offer face-to-face, voice, video, text and e-mail Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to people who are living with a range of difficulties. I am able to work with people who have problems like depression, anxiety and panic attacks, but also with people who have multiple or complex difficulties or diagnoses.
Please be aware that I do not offer the free 15 minute meetings as advertised by PlusGuidance.

    What to expect

When you first make contact with me we will spend around 15 minutes in a free screening, talking briefly about what it is that you want to have online therapy for. If online therapy appears suitable we will then arrange an hour long session where we will work together as part of an assessment that may last several sessions, depending on the complexity of the problem. This time will be spent exploring what bothers you in a non-judgemental, confidential and open space.
Therapy conducted on line differs a little from face to face work, but this is made easier through some of the facilities PlusGuidance offer, for example the ability to send documents and book sessions. If you book a session with me through PlusGuidance we will also use their inbuilt instant messaging system and voice chat system. People usually find this is the most preferable way of having session, as opposed to using software like Skype. I currently have availability for up to three clients but this is expected to change in the next 3 months.   Please ensure the following does not apply to you before making contact: Due to my other commitments I am unable to work with people who have been under the care of Essex Partnership University Trust (EPUT) or the former South Essex Partnership Trust (SEPT) or North Essex Partnership University Trust (NEP) in the last 3 years. I am also unable to work with people who live in the US or Canada as my practitioner insurance does not extend to these areas.
