    How I can help you

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.  I appreciate how difficult taking the first step towards counselling can be and the courage it takes to reach out for support. If you have any questions you'd like to ask before you book a session please feel free to message me.

I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space for my clients – a space where they can explore all aspects of themselves, working through worries, grief, stress, confusion and pain and move to a place of greater self-acceptance.

I offer online counselling (through a choice of video, voice, instant messaging or email) and also face to face counselling.  I have helped clients with many aspects of their lives including aspects such as:

    • Relationship problems
    • Depression
    • Anxiety & panic attacks
    • Stress
    • Bereavement & loss
    • Trauma
    • Sexuality
    • Difficulties at work
    • Low self-esteem
    • Identity issues

    What to expect

My voice, video, instant messaging and face to face sessions are 50 mins. The first session will offer us a chance to begin to get to know each other, for you to ask any questions you may be holding, and to give me a sense of what has brought you to counselling. With person-centred counselling, there is no defined time limit - we work with what you bring for as long or as short as feels right.

    About me

Counselling has helped me in many ways over the years – as both a counsellor and as someone who has received counselling.  Taking time to really listen to another human being, to step into their shoes and truly empathise, to offer support and no judgement, can be incredibly powerful and healing. I believe that every person has the ability to grow and fulfil their potential; to enhance their well-being and create a happier, healthier life for themselves.

As a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and fellow human being, I aim to tap into all of my life experiences to help me empathise with my clients, to be open and accepting of them, and be the best counsellor I can be.

Alongside my counselling work, I help organisation's nurture authentic cultures to support innovation and creativity, and work with people to find their purpose and grow. I have supported staff through many difficult issues, both personal and work-related, and understand the stresses and challenges that can happen at work and how these can impact all aspects of your life.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and am bound by its code of ethics and subject to its complaints procedure.
