    About me

"Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be ."

As a fully qualified counsellor, I offer short and long-term counselling from a Person-Centred and Existential approach through PlusGuidance.

I like to focus on the client as a person; their hopes, dreams and fears as a whole. I will go above and beyond my duty of care to ensure I create a safe, confidential space for you to explore yourself as an individual. I will work with you keeping in mind that you are the expert of your own life and as a counsellor, alongside offering guidance, I am here to help support you with any difficulties you may be facing in your day to day life.

Through my study thus far (and my own personal experience), I work with those especially between the ages of 12 and 25 under the subjects of anxiety, depression, bullying, depersonalisation, sexuality, panic disorders and a lot more from my Diploma and Bachelor of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology

My Qualifications and Experience thus far:

    Diploma of Counselling:

Through my Diploma of Counselling I gained extensive knowledge in Interviewing Skills, Counselling Theories, how to Facilitate the Counselling Process, Support Clients, Cultural Diversity and Workplace Legislation, Monitor Case Management and how to Recognise and Respond to Domestic and Family Violence.

    Bachelor of Applied Social Science:

Before the Bachelor of Applied Social Science changed into the Bachelor of Counselling, I gained experience in social and science units such as Social Analysis, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Contemporary Society and Applied Social Research.

    Bachelor of Counselling:

My Bachelor of Counselling furthered my knowledge in counselling; this unit gave me the experience and knowledge I have today through the units Counselling in Loss, Mental Health Policy and Practice, Family and Relationship Counselling, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Change, Influence and Power Dynamics alongside extensive counselling placement and supervision, which was taken over the course of a year.

Through placement and volunteering, I have had a lot of experience working with clients, which has allowed me to learn a lot about the counselling process. At the same time as volunteering, I am always looking for workshops to expand my skills and knowledge.

If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact me for FREE consultation before booking your first session.

I look forward to speaking with you!
