How I can help you
I have experience counselling many clients with a variety of different issues and specialise in grief and bereavement.
I can help you work through your issues and support you in gaining the skills needed to overcome them now, and in the future
We will work together to help YOU find the answers and direction you are searching for – basically, helping you to help yourself
What to expect
Deciding to try counselling is in itself, courageous – you are choosing to share your thoughts and feelings with a complete stranger and this can feel very daunting. I offer a warm, friendly and non-judgmental service and together we can work through your issues and difficulties at your own pace, either through instant messaging, email or face to face
I am a fully qualified experienced counsellor. I have completed my Bsc (Hons) degree in Psychology and my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, gaining the majority of my experience within the voluntary sector. I am experienced in providing support for many issues and specialise in grief and bereavement work.
I love what I do! I am extremely passionate about mental health and wellbeing and strongly believe that it is just as important as a physical ailment – the problem being is that we can’t physically ‘see it’ and it can sometimes be difficult to understand the ”whys” and “how’s”.
I enjoy helping people discover new perspectives, strengths and overall, themselves. It is great to see my clients growing in confidence each week and developing the courage and determination to make the changes in their life they have needed to make but haven’t quite known how
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and have my certificate of proficiency meaning I am on the BACP register of counsellors and psychotherapists which is accredited by the professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
