    About me

I offer a safe and welcoming environment for you to explore your own story and find the way forward that most meets your needs. I have worked with clients who have had a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, family difficulties, stress, trauma, historical abuse, relationship difficulties, addiction problems, and self esteem issues.

We all contain within us the potential to develop, to better understand each part of ourselves, and to become comfortable with who we really are. This journey often takes a little digging and self exploration, and I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for you to do this.

I see individual adults for both short and long term counselling or psychotherapy, this is entirely dependent on your own goals and wishes. Many clients have issues that can be helped in just a few sessions, other clients have more complex issues and want to leave the number of sessions open. This is something we will discuss and agree at your initial session, but it is always entirely up to you. You can stop therapy at any time.

I see clients from pleasant consulting rooms in Strathaven and Central Glasgow, and work with a group of fellow counsellors, The Actualise Collective, to try to close the gap between people who may need help, and those who may be able to help them.
