How I can help you
My therapeutic experience covers working with children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
I am highly skilled in assessing and treating common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety and depression, and severe psychological disorders, especially avoidant and borderline personality disorder as well as addiction and eating disorders. I pride myself on my ability to engage with clients who present with anger issues, eating disorders, addictive and impulsive behaviours, as well as with histories of emotional, interpersonal and behavioural difficulties.
My education and clinical experience has provided me with a strong background in both individual and group therapy. I am adept at assessment, consultation, counselling and therapy. I have worked in a variety of setting, including hospitals, clinics, residential units, schools and private practice and I have extensive experience in crisis and emergency situations.
My recent work includes interventions in cases of substance misuse, depression, anxiety, suicide, eating disorders, and parental abuse. I am also familiar with sexual harassment, violent crimes, dysfunctional family issues, neurodevelopmental issues, learning disabilities and chronic physical illnesses.
