How the credit system works
You are prompted to set up your services and pricing during the guided sign-up. Clients buy these services in quantities called "credits". Here's how the PlusGuidance credit system works.
Each paid session will cost 1 credit. There are 5 types of services you can offer on PlusGuidance: instant-messaging (IM), video, audio, email and in-person sessions. Basically, you set the price of a credit, not of the session. Usually, this will mean that the price of the credit is equal to the price of the session but there are a few things you can do in order to have flexibility in creating a personalised offer to your clients:
You offer the possibility of purchasing 1 credit at a set price. For example you set the price of a video session credit at £40. This will ultimately mean that the session will cost £40.
You create a bundle of credits at a set price. In this case, the price per credit (and price per session) will be the total cost of the bundle divided by the number of credits within it. For example: you create a bundle of 5 credits priced at £150. The client will pay £150 for the 5 credits, amounting to £30 per session. The client can then use each credit to book individual sessions at times that suit you both. You don't have to book these credits immediately, but the client has to pay for this bundle of 5 credits upfront. Thus you can take 2 approaches with bundles:
Offer them at a discounted rate compared to your single credit offer to make your services more appealing.
Offer them at the same relative price as the single credit but use the bundles as a method of getting clients to commit to more sessions.
You offer both bundles and single credits for a more diverse offering.
